The vision of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs is for the Somali people to live in peace and harmony guided by the principles of Islam as religion of tolerance and peace. To that end, the Ministry aims to preserve, develop and guide all religious activity across Somalia through active promotion of religious awareness and fostering the cultural heritage of Somalia. The Ministry envisions a Somalia in which every Somali is encouraged and supported to understand and follow the ethics of Islam, to its correct teaching and to contribute to the Somali society by upholding Islamic values ​​and moral principles.
